Could you imagine a female-bodied Moriarty on his/her period

#think of moran trying to survive

If Moran were a girl, too, then they’d get on the same cycles and

holy hell they’d kill each other.

^^^^ That is assuming that the idea of PMS is not merely a symptom of the culture we live in that suppressed female emotions such as anger and sadness. I believe it is, however. For one thing, when this notion occurred to me, my emotions in general felt much more regular, and it never felt like I had massive mood swings on my period anymore. Why? Because it’s psychological. One may shove all their feelings into the one week a month when they’re “allowed” to be upset, which is unhealthy in my opinion. Though hormones can enhance feelings that already exist, the world needs to stop dismissing the feelings of a PMS-ing girl simply because of the fact that she’s PMS-ing. It’s cultural. In a lot of places (mostly in non-western cultures), PMS doesn’t even exist. The main symptoms of menstruation in a lot of cultures is actually only the cramps, and in fact, somewhere in China, the other big one is a heightened sensitivity to cold. Mood swings as a symptom of menstruation exists almost solely in western culture, which has always been quite oppressive towards women anyway. This is such a random post for me to have this rant on, but whatever. The book I got my facts to support my opinion is Women: An Intimate Geography. It was a seriously interesting read, in case anyone would like to give it a try.
