Jessa’s Harry Potter Drinking Game

(I recommend not using all of these rules at once if you do not wish to be extremely trashed. This game is for a full-on Harry Potter marathon, but can be used for just one movie if desired and in that case, many of these rules will not apply anyway. I would also love suggestions so I can make this game even more awesome!!)

Imperio! Everybody takes a swig when:

·      Hermione scolds or tells off her friends,

·      someone says “Voldemort,”

·      Draco says “Potter” in a menacing way,

·      Dumbledore says something cryptic,

·      Dumbledore looks knowing,

·      Ron looks frightened,

·      the Dark Mark is cast,

·      Harry catches a snitch,

·      Gryffindor wins house points,

·      Harry says something angsty,

·      Snape appears out of no where unexpectedly,

·      someone who seemed good turns out to be bad (and vice versa),

·      Harry is annoyed with or angry at Dumbledore,

·      Professor Trelawney predicts Harry’s or Ron’s death,

·      Snape insults Harry’s father,

·      Ron and Hermione have an awkward romantic moment together,

·      Harry uses “Expelliarmus.”

Impedimenta! These are written on slips of paper and chosen by the players at random. A player with one or more of these things on their paper must take a swig when:

·      Harry’s scar hurts him,

·      Hagrid cries,

·      Fred and George speak in unison or finish each others’ sentences,

·      McGonnagal deducts points from any house,

·      the word “mudblood” is used,

·      it is referred to that Ron and his family are poor,

·      fire is summoned in any way,

·      someone comments on the fact that Harry has his mother’s eyes,

·      Mrs. Norris is onscreen,

·      someone tells Harry to please not say the name “Voldemort,”

·      Ron is seen talking with his mouth full,

·      a painting speaks,

·      Fang (the dog) is onscreen,

·      someone speaks in Parseltongue,

·      someone travels via Portkey, Apparation, or Floo Powder,

·      Malfoy is so frightened he screams, or has a spell used on him, or is punched by Hermione.

Horcruxes! Everybody takes seven swigs when:

·      someone says the word “horcrux,”

·      a horcrux is destroyed (whether Harry is aware of it or not).

Avada Kedavra! Everybody finishes the drink in their hand when:

·      someone casts “Avada Kedavra” on screen,

·      Harry shouts “WHEN HE DOES, I’M GONNA BE READY. WHEN HE DOES, I’M GONNA KILL HIM.”

Crucio! Everybody must take a shot of hard liquor when:

·      Hermione is a fucking beast (not really in Sorcerer’s Stone, then in Prisoner of Azkaban it’s once OR twice depending on your p.o.v., but just once in every other movie as far as I can recall, and many times in Deathly Hallows part 1).
